we finally received our food (salads, chicken sandwich, and burger). We made a reservation to eat before we went. The kids have been looking forward to visiting Dave & Busters forever! We finally made it out there and it was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. Making excuses instead of fixing the problem is never a good idea. No management presence, oblivious staff, and serious lack of professionalism. The entire time I felt like I was in a cheap ghetto night club with young kids running the show who have no idea how to handle the public or probably their own lives in general. First dinner of our vacation was a bust and off to the drive thru it was.ĭave and Busters, this was an awful operation here in Orlando. We left cash on the table for what we had already received and left. At this point we were fed up after already spending $250 on arcade games. We asked to speak to the manager who never came and we’re told by our server that the kitchen was backed up and that’s why it was taking so long. Over an hour went by and we still didn’t have our food. Finally another server threw down 2 packs of plastic silverware but by that time the Mac and cheese was hard and cold. Our childrens food came out after a while and my son had to start eating his dried Kraft Mac and cheese with his mouth because we didn’t have silverware and when asked to bring some, staff acted like we were wanting the impossible. Some drinks were brought to the table but the sodas didn’t come until we reminded the server that we didn’t have them. Server seemed less than thrilled to be there, took our order and left. Once seated we weren’t greeted for another 15 minutes. When we finally got text for our table we waited in line to get seated all the while I heard servers complaining about how mad they were when people would get in there way. There is no organization and there are wild kids and teens not being supervised running all over the place. Also, you buy game cards with what seems like a lot of tokens loaded on them, only to find out that almost every game is 7.5 tokens a single play. marshal showed up…The game floor was over crowded with lines at almost every game and there were many games that allowed you to swipe your game card but weren’t working. Now, with the amount of people in this place I’m sure they would be shut down if the fire. Let me start by saying our children had fun with the games they got to play while we were waiting for our table(quoted 1.5 HR wait) For 1 person dining and mediocre service, I would never leave 18%. They are also getting out of hand with the 18% gratuity unless you opt out quickly before it is added. The price of what was received should've have been about 60% of what they charge at this location, portion-wise. The 3 stars is for the arcade games and the food when it did finally arrive. Never heard of a cheesesteak served on a doughy roll, not toasted. He stated he didnt think they can toast a roll. I ordered the same meal and asked the employee if the kitchen could actually toast the roll. Very over staffed and a longer wait but less diners at all tables. A cheesesteak comes with a roll, but they didnt toast it. Cheesesteak was ok, but super salty, overly salty. Tons of tvs with all sports playing, nice family friendly atmosphere. Arcade games are very reasonable and are for all ages. I noticed this in the 15 mins of waiting. Most employees were scattered, with no direction, back tracking and going in circles, nothing in hands or talking. I would guess about 40% of the seating was full. Of the 15 employees, one finally arrived to my table to take my order after. Very over-staffed, I counted 15 employees just in the TV main dining area.
